Folder Views

Hi
Is there any way of changing to and then saving the 'Details' view for
folders. All my non-photo files, for instance, keep reverting to 'Tiles'
view and I prefer to see 'Details' as the default. Explorer just doesn't
seem to remember.

I don't wish to set All Folders to 'Details' since I prefer to leave my
Photo files unchanged - they default to thumbnails which is how I want to
view them.

Try increasing folder capacity, with this registry tweak...

Hold down <shift> as you click the item. That should bring up a SAVE AS box.
Save to a convenient directory (folder), the double-click on it and answer YES.

Then see if your folders "stick." Even if they do not, this patch will do
no harm.
