My folders have changed from having tool bars in a web
page format to opening to a search screen. I now lomger
have tool bars and the files don't show up. I have to
right click and choose explore to be able to see my files.

I have been all over help and the control panel as well as
explorer options.

Can any one help?

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

The Search Screen problem can occur when you open the Edit File Type dialog box for
the Drive or File Folder registered file types. For the resolution see the following
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article (although written for Windows XP, the resolution
also works for Windows 2000).

KB321186 - Search Companion Starts If You Double-Click a Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;321186

For the toolbar problem, try changing to regular-screen view by pressing F11.
