Is there a reason that I am unable to find the Folder Size in Explorer? I am
in Details view and it shows the folder name, the Type and the Date Modified.
I know I can add other attirbutes to view, however, I was hoping to view a
bunch of the user folders in my network home directory based on size and see
how many are NOT using their network directory.

Thank you.

I am using XP SP2 (all updates)
Server's are 2003 SP1 (all updates)

My friend recommended me the View Folder Size Pro.
http://www.moveax.com/viewfoldersizepro/
He searched for software that shows folder size extension both on WinXP
and WinXP x64. I likes View Folder Size Pro more because it faster and
more customizable than "Folder Size" and other solutions. And there is
no annoying tray icons (only a button on Explorer
toolbar if you wish) ;)

You hover over a folder to see it's size. Each hover windows will spend max 2 secs calculating size but the size is cumlative. So hover twice to get 4 secs of calculating. Or look at the folders properties.

1) And how to sort by size in this case?
With View Folder Size Pro you can sort of file and folder sizes in any
units.

2) You can also add column that shows how much space the file or folder
occupies in the parent folder (percentage or/and graphics bar). This
column allows easily analyze files allocation and improves information
sensing.

3) You can customize folder view as you wish (size metric, decimal
digits capacity and separator).

Can you do it by "hover over a folder"? :)

That's how it works and is better advice to give than yours which was that it can't be done. You are asking people to install software and forcing them into a compatability view mode.
