Folder redirection

Graeme

I am having huge problems with desktop redirection and
cannot figure it out.

We have 3 groups - staff, students, technicians

On the file server/dc the desktops are fine from any
machine and the desktop shares (by group)are on the
DC/file server.

On my Terminal Servers (where the Group Policy is for),
the desktops are stored on them and redirection for
desktops are as follows:

advanced by group -
\\Servername\Sharename\Desktops\students
\\Servername\Sharename\Desktops\staff
\\Servername\Sharename\Desktops\technicians

I am getting redirection errors in event logs stating
access denied errors redirecting 1000 and 101 and am
getting the Technicians desktop hitting the Students and
staff all the time.

I have now stated that no policy is set for any
redirection and my event logs now say:

Successfully redirected folder Desktop. The folder was
redirected from \\Domain name\SysVol\Domain name\Common
Folders\Desktops\Technicians to \\Domain
name\SysVol\domain name\Common Folders\Desktops\Students.

and the correct icons are appearing. This is ok but i want
the icons to come from each respective Terminal Server as
applications installation paths differ from that of the
other servers

Am using Server 2000 Sp2 and SP3 on Terminal Servers

Any advice would be appreciated
