Folder Protect

In win 2000 how can I password protect a folder and
restrict its sharing on the n/w. Other sharing can only
access it using password.

You go into windows explorer. Find the folder you want to protect and right click on it. Choose Properties. When the properties is displayed, click on the security tab. On this window, you set the permissions for that folder, by selecting the users and specifying each permission.
