folder opens on login

I am running win xp pro sp 3. Whwn I logon as Administrator, a folder is
open on the desktop Program Fiels Common. Does anyone know what might cause
this? malware, perhaps? I have run spybot, adaware, and hijackthis, but it
still occurs. Cheers

You have something in Startup that points to something in that directory.
