Recently, I opened a folder in My documents and the folders within that folder appeared as thumbnails, which was fine, but the names of the folders did not appear. I checked others folders and there was no problem. I tried switching from thumbnails to icons and then back to thumbnails and then with tiles and the the other viewing chocies and I refreshed everytime but nothing seemed to help. Just messing around, I created a new folder and I saw the problem. The folders were placed so close together that the name was being hidden. Unlike when the folders are viewed as Icons, you can not simply move the folders around. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it, please share your solution with me. Thank you.

Attempting to resolve the problem myself, I thought that just copying the folder and then renaming it, so there wouldnt be two folders with the same name, would be the easy way to get around the issue. Not to my suprise, everything copied fine and the folder names were present and the spacing between the folders was fine. Then I deleted the original folder with the problem. I was left with a new folder that was working properly. It bothered me that the new folder had a different name so I decided to give it its original name of "Other". But! when I opened the folder the problem was back! I didn't understand how it happened because not even a minute before I had opened the folder and it was fine. Thinking about it, i decided to rename to anything but except "Other". When I did that the problem was fixed. I find it odd that when the folder is titled "Other", the subfolders change, and when its titled anything else the folders are fine. Now with the new problem at hand, I was wondering if anyone had come across this problem. Thanks.
