I would like to have the same details settings on my home
computer that I have at work; ie. When I click on a file
folder I would like the left Panel Details to list how
many items are in that folder. How do I do that? Thanks.
Jeff J.

Hi Jeff,

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/Show Common Tasks in Folders.

Hello Jeff: If you want to use all the same settings on
your home computer as you have set-up on your office
computer, I would use the "Files and Settings Transfer
Wizard" transfer the file to CD-R/CD-RW and take them home
and use the same wizard to transfer your settings etc.
onto your home computer ... (I'm assuming that both
machines are using the same O/S and have more or less the
same file structures...) or have your already been there
~
Good Luck eh

Steve, I'd rather not. Some settings at work I don't
like. I do like the clicking on a file and the left panel
details says how many items are in the file thou. How do
I do that single settings. Thanks, Jeff J. PS> yes, it's
the same OS; WindowsXP.

Jeff,

Are you using XP at work or an earlier OS? It sounds like you have web view at work and this
has been replaced by Common Tasks, which, alas, does not have all the same features.
