Folder Disappeared

Hi

I am running XP Home,
the weirdest thing has happened, I was working in folders in
Explorer and one of the sub folders I was working with has disappeared.
It is not in the folder where I created it
and searching my entire hard drive does not locate it.
It is not in the recycle bin.
This folder had several Megs of zip files in it.

Has anyone encountered this before??

Does anyone know what could have happened and how
I can fix it?

Hi

I found it, I had cut and pasted it to a folder in Program Files.
Why Search did not find it is anyone's guess

Program Files is a System Folder - which Search by default ignores
