folder corrupted???

Hi, I have a folder in My Pictures, when I click a thumbnail of any of the
pictures it will open another picture on the same folder. I tried to rename
the pictures but when I do that it delete the original picture and will show
the worng picture. It's only happening with this folder, what can I do???

Let me add that in this folder, the names of the pictures have been all mixed
up

Delete the file named thumbs.db in that folder (disregard
the warning), close the folder then open it again.
