Folder appears on restart

After turning on, or restarting, a folder automatically
opens on my desktop, even if I haven't accessed it in
some time. It is one I created named multimedia, and
contains only kazaa lite. I have cleared the "re-open
after restart" in folder options. This seems similar to
the "system32 opens" problem. Any ideas out there for
this XP Home anamoly?

I appreciate the response Kenrick, but it is not the
system32 folder that opens after restart. I created a
folder for my multimedia files, and that is what opens
every time windows starts up, even though the option to
open last used is NOT checked.

hi !

well, maybe the folder will be in the 'Startup' folder in the programs menu ?! or maybe it will be somewhere in the registry. There are many possible cases.
or if you really want that thing removed, then uninstall Kazaa ( be sure to store the downloaded files somewhere ! :) ) ..... and then reinstall it again ...... quite a dumb suggestion, but , it could do ! :)
