Folder Access

I'm trying to save work on a CD-R in the "E" drive. When
I attempt, I get the message: "You do not have access to
the folder 'E:\'. See your administrator for access to
this Folder.

I am the administrator and it appears as though
everything is functioning perfectly...

Which CD burning software are you using?

Splendid Question, Jack. I'm not sure. The computer is a
HP pavilion 513n. I assumed it came with the software? Do
you know where I can look? Also, when I try to explore
the contents of drive E in "My Computer", I am told that
Drive E is not accessible.

Search for 'CD burning' in Help and Support.
Although Xp has software to burn CDs, it works only in the way described
there.

If you want to 'Drag and Drop', or use in (say) Word, File>Save As to save
to the CD, then you will need a product like 'Easy CD Creator'.
