fntldr.exe error message

Before boot up is complete, a pop-up says fntldr.exe can't
be found and I should remove reference to it in winini.
Huh? I don't see it (maybe looking in the wrong place)
What is this file for? Important? ???

Follow the instructions.
Alter the line in in Win.ini to read just:

run=

It is not a needed file. It is a parasite.
You can edit Win.ini with Sysedit
(Start-Run-Sysedit)
