Floppys problem ...

That is I have 2 pc's , well one pc and a nearly pc .

Both have identical problems .

every time I try to write to a floppy I get ,

There is no disc in drive A insert a disc and try again .

folowed by

The disc in drive A is not formatted . Do you want to format it now .


Followed by nothing

Both drives do the same thing and neither of them will read a floppy either . The floppy on my main pc worked fine before .
I'm puzzled

Sorry Abarbarian, you'll have to attach those images to the post, as those are currently linking to your own hard drive (so only you can see them).

Click the "manage attachments" button when you are on the reply page and you can attach them that way

Sounds like a broken floppy disk unfortunately Have you tried any others?

Guess its possible that they are both duff . Oh well I'll have to see if I can find one . Thanks .
