Dear all,
There is a problem with my windows 2000 computer:
The problem is when inserting a new floppy disk, it seems
to be that windows keeps the history of the contents of
the floppy, i tried to insert another 5 floppies, the same
contents appear on the screen.
What can I do to open the floppies?
Regards,

If they all have the same name, Win2K does seem to have "issues". Or at
least it used to with Zip disks when I was at uni. Try renaming them on
a different PC and see if that helps. I just used to use my username
with an incrementing digit at the end on my Zip disks to ensure they
were uniquely named.

Fares, that's a dead give-away for a defective floppy drive. The drive
is supposed to "alert" the OS that a disk has been ejected, but
sometimes that mechanism fails. The only way to get the OS to see a new
floppy is restart.

Replace the drive and you'll be OK.
