Floppy Drive Help Need Badly

I am using a friends computer and when I booted it the floppy drive started
making noises I removed the floppy disk that was in it and the noise
continues. I have tryed disabling it in CMOS and uninstaling it and nothing
works. Help Please!
 
If you have physicaly uninstalled the floppy and the noise is still
there..........its not the floppy!!!
