floppy disk

I have a camera that takes photos to a floppy disk and
when I load them into my search to then open it to my
pictures my internet seems to keep opening my floppy disk
thing and it keeps making noise, sort of like it keeps
trying to open it. Even after I take the floppy out.
How can I correct this, thank you virgil

If you are trying to upload photos to the internet, Copy the Photos from the
floppy disk to your computer before uploading.

Right-click start, properties, Advanced tab, clear the most recently opened
documents.

Could be your anti-virus software

For McAfee Vshield:
right-click an icon from the Taskbar and select "Properties"
under "Scan Floppies On" from "Detection" tab
uncheck the "Shutdown" box.
For Norton AntiVirus Auto-protect:
right-click an icon from the Taskbar and select "Options"
click "Advance" button and under the "Check floppies"
uncheck the "Check floppies when reboot computer" box.
