Floppy disk driver

I am runnign windows XP home, and am getting a message that the floppy disk driver may be missing or corrupted (code39) does any one anywhere that I may be able to get a new copy of this driver. Version 5.1.2600.1106
Has anyone come across this before

You may have to open your PC case and find the name and model of the manufacturer, then go to their website for updates drivers.
