Not able to read from floppy Disk A

When I try to open any floppy disk i get this
message: "Please insert a disk into drive A"
I tried to insert different floppy disks, but still none
worked.
I hear the driver/Floppy working and the green light is
turned on for few seconds and then I get the
message: "Please insert a disk into drive A"

Hi Adam,

If you insert a boot floppy and restart the machine to it, does it work
then?
