Whenever I insert a floppy into my "A" drive I receive a
prompt that my disk needs to be formated. All these disks
have information on them already & should be able to be
read. This just started yesterday. Any suggestions on
why this is happening. Thanks - Neecy

Reboot the machine with a Win98 boot disk from
www.bootdisk.com. This lets you determine if your
disk drive is faulty or if you have a problem with
Windows 2000.

Try turning on {home, seek, initialize} Floppy in the BIOS. Sometimes
drives get off by a track, and until something goes looking for the
home sensor they don't work...
