I have a problem opening a disc I burned from floppy drive to CD, I can not
open the CD. I get a error message when I try to open the CD. I also tried
opening it on my new computer XP, but the same message. Any help is
appreciated

Try going to the CD and typing DIR to see what's on the disk.
Do this from the Windows - CMD prompt.

Thank you for yor help, it shows what is on there, I think I ruinded the
floppy disc.
When I try to open the cd I get a message saying "can not load word for
windows 6.0 files.

If you are able to see what's on the CD, but unable to open,
Try copying the CD to the hard drive and then try to open it.

eveidently I didn't do something right on your previous suggestion, because I
took a blank CD and it shows the same result. Also I did not get a prompt
but I went to cmd and entered DIR and all show the same. So maybe there is a
problem in the way I copied the floppy to the CD. Thanks for your time
