Fleet banking XP pro

My friend is trying to access her accounts and download to Quicken or
anything else. Fleet lets her enter her account number and password for both
accounts and as soon as she goes to download, the IE 6(?) Browser gives her
a reportable error. She has XP Pro. From purusing the Q&A we see that she
must have cookines on and my daughter said the XP Pro would automatically
download java if it was needed. Any suggestions? She is blind and works as a
compter consultant to the blind and has JAWS on her system and Norton
Internet Security. Fleet is of little or no help!!! My friend is leery of my
touching her system as I could really screw it up, but last I spoke with her
she was going to check to see if encription was "0" (on). Fleet users please
help!!!

See if she'll let you run Windows Update and download all critical updates
(don't do SP2 yet even if it's there).

Use Quicken to set up the acct and then use Quicken's "Setup Online" feature.
Quicken Help will guide you. To access the account with your browser, you
have to get a ATM card from Fleet and an assigned password from Fleet. You
use the atm card number and the assigned password to access Fleet's Homelink.
Go to www.Fleet.com for instructions and sign up.

Thanks for all of the help! We went to a branch of the bank and contacted
Eric at the on-line help desk. He was very very accommadating(sic?). and said
that things may change a little when they become Bank of America. Anyway!!!!!
The problem was that she had to "open" the file not "save it
