Flawed Microsoft Updates

Why, if the updates provided by Microsoft, are critical,
does installing them create other major problem with the
Windows Operating system. ie; explorer.exe working fine
until updates installed then you get messages
like "explorer.exe has generated errors and will be
closed ...."??? explorer.exe is key to the Op system.

The updates are not at fault. Probably you got some spyware that got
deleted, screwing explorer.

Make a repair install; that'll do.
