Flash Player won't install

Flash player won't install

have done: repair of XP, Fully updated as of today, no
firewall up, IE options defaulted, IE 6 updated, no anti
virus scanning running.

When attempting to install the most recent...or any
flash player, the computer hangs on the install website or
when running it from the HDD it installs but still does
not allow for viewing of Flash 6 sites.

I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS THE SAME FOR YOU, BUT, WINDOWS 2000

PRO. IE6 BROWSER, I COULD NOT DOWNLOAD THE MACROMEDIA FLASH
PLAYER , NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED, AND I TRIED FOR WEEKS. I
INSTALLED NETSCAPE BROWSER, IT COMES WITH THE MACROMEDIA
FLASH PLAYER. AFTER THAT IF YOU WANT THE SHOCKWAVE PLAYER
YOU NEED TO INSTALL IT FROM THE MACROMEDIA SITE. ANYHOW ,
EVERYTHING IS WORKING GREAT WITH THE NETSCAPE BROWSER.
