Thought I'd post THIS with the subject header. I found this solution in
several threads that weren't as simply labled.
Uninstall your flash player-scroll to the bottom of the page for the
uninstaller http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Run the uninstaller.
Go to any site that requires the flash player or Adobe's flash site and
install the player, follow the prompts for permission, etc. and you shouldn't
have anymore issues.

I thought it was the Flash player that was turning off Aero in Vista, but it
was Java. I just downloade the Vista Version of Java and Aero is not
affected by any Java site. Hooray.

There is a Vista bersion?? I am having all sorts of troubles even after
deleting like DCell states. I cant use YouTube.. It says I have it turned off
.... I dont... or a old version... I have the latest ( I think but after
reading this forum topic I think not)
It all started today , out of the bluw.. was working fine this morning. But
not any longer.
