After a little reading on this message board most people
realive they have been infected by qhost. There are
several removal methods and tools. And people have had
mixed results. (Iposted this earlier today and felt I
ought to repost to help others with the fustration I had)

I ran the removal tool from the Norton site with no
luck, was really confused by the Hijack This. But
search from my home computer and found a clean-up tool
from Brown University that worked!!! and was easy for the
non-tech user. Here is the link I hope it helps someone
else as I was fixing the just reinstall XP as it was all
to confusing

Couple of replies to my earlier post said it worked like
a charm for them Too!

Hi Debbie - Thanks for posting the link to this new Removal Tool. I've
checked it out, and I'm adding it to my "canned" post about the qHosts
trojan.
