FIX for non-functioning address bar search

I have been having the problem with the address bar search giving me the
http:///? Search whatever whatever
error and I finally located a fix that worked for me on another forum. Here it is
Run "Hijack This" and check the box for the following entry if it is found
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file
Close any open browsers and click FIX
Open your browser and try your address bar search function
FINALLY. Post if this also worked for you. Hope I helped

OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I have posted 3 different times and have kept watch for how to fix my
address bar search area, (weeks of waiting for a fix) and followed all the
search threads to no avail until you posted this message! I ran all the
programs that were suggested for fixes with NO results!
