firewire ?

Hi!
I'm going to buy a dv-camera so I can cut my movies on
the computer. I have a IEEE 1394 ( Firewire ) and I
wonder if I only need to buy the software for the
moviemaker-program, or do I need to buy a new firewire
to ? thanks ! ! / Jonas

You should only need the video editing software, assuming you do have the
firewire cable to connect the dv-camera to the computer. If your computer
came with a firewire card installed, you may also have video editing
software installed too... If you are using Windows XP, Movie Maker is
free...
