FireWire Card Rebooting PC

My Recently installed FireWire card runs perfectly but,
when I shut my down it automatically reboots the PC.
Tried a different brand of card & got the same problem.
Any ideas?
 
are the drivers signed? have u tried a bios update or
updated drivers also?
