Not a clue here about this and read all that I can find
and I am still confused. I run Macfee Anti Virus on my
PC.....does this have an automatic firewall? Should I
keep the built in XP firewall enabled? Thank you for
your help.

Unless you purchased a "suite" of software products, your AV software does
not come with a firewall. You should keep XP's firewall turned on, or
purchase a 3rd party firewall product.

I know someone that uses McAfee anti virus and it does
come with a firewall, however it has to be installed
seperately as it is not automatically installed with the
anti virus installation.I just installed it for them a few
weeks ago.By the way this is the most recent McAfee
antivirus software I'm talking about.Open up the main
program and refer to help for more info.

Thank you

Hi Kelly, As far as I know you would see opions or tools
related to a firewall when you bring up your Macfee
AntiVirus tools. My guess is that it doesn't have a
firewall, unless it came as a bundle with firewall
software included. So for now I would keep your XP
firewall in place till you get a better firewall in place.
