Firewall

Does anyone met this problem before?

I recently started the firewall provided in the Windows
XP. After some while I disabled it. When I tried to run
some applications is showed me this "Failed to establish
listener for incoming data. Check firewall settings are
permitting java(w).exe to act as a 'server' ".

I tried to disable it including in msconfig but it still
won't work out .

Does any one knows how to fix this problem?

This is wrong NG.
Try microsoft.public.windows.networking.firewall
or microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
