Feature Pack 2007 Firewall

Hello,

I was using windows XP embedded SP2 and know I'm trying to report my
work on windows XP embedded Feature Pack 2007. Here, I'm encountering
some difficult problems concerning Firewall script managment.
I explain:
with SP2, I used to call netsh firewall args... to modify firewall
setting.
the same thing does not work with Feature Pack 2007 firewall. Version
of the firewall has effectively been upgraded from 5.1.2600.2180 to
5.1.2600.3333.
what I noticed is that netsh function has no more firewall in its
argument list.
Had I missed something in my OS image or Does this functionnality has
bin ommitted on the new release.

In FP2007 some re-factoring has been done so some components are no longer listed as dependencies of other components they used to
in SP2.

With regards to the Firewall. You are probably missing firewall helper plug-in for netsh - fwcfg.dll - that allow you to configure
firewall settings on SP2 with network shell command line tool.
Please check if in your FP2007 image you still have "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" component. If not, please
add it.

In TD, I have both component "Windows Firewall control Panel" &
"windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing".
In the resulted image, fwcfg.dll is available.
The firewall is fonctionning correctly after windows startup.
What I remark also is that old customized netfw.inf file has not been
able to apply my firewall settings. I was obliged to change driver
version to have these setting applied after FBA.
So, the only problem that I'm encountering is firewall command line
using netsh.
on SP2 netsh command gives me more option than on FP2007.
