It can be done from Control Panel. Double click on Windows
Firewall.

I have to say that this is not one of your better ideas..
 
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Security Center. Click on Windows
Firewall under the heading "Manage security settings for:" and select "Off".
Repeat steps to turn back "On".
