I am having problems with my firewall. When I try to view
my son's yahoo webcam, it gives me the message that I
cant view it because I am behind a firewall. The
instructions say to go to Control Panel, then Network
Connections, then right click on my internet connection,
and click on properties. I am able to do all of that..
and then thats where my Windows XP stops. Right clicking
on my internet connection highlights it, but that is it.
It will not bring up another menu, nor does it allow me
access to do anything to it. I have been talking to all
kinds of people trying to figure out what to do, and they
all say the same thing. When we look at the other
connections under network connections, there are no
firewalls listed. However, I still can not access the
properties in my internet connection, nor can I view
anything photos from my son's webcam in Korea. I was able
to view them at one point and then something happened.
Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

Also, how do I know when someone has posted a reply to
this post? And how do I get back here? I am not sure how
I got here in the first place, I kept being sent in
circles by Microsoft.

Strange. Maybe typing "regsvr32 %windir%\system32\netshell.dll" at a
command prompt might help.

What port does it what you to open out of curiousity?

I believe that it is Port 3 that it is using.

Select the Start Menu / All Programs / Accessories / Command Prompt
In the resulting window type "regsvr32 %windir%\system32\netshell.dll" and
select OK.

Port 3 sounds unlikely.
