I have the same problem....firewall does not start ...am
not sure whether the page you are directing us to
resolves this issue. The error message 10047 is not
mentioned on this support page ?

Please try the remedies in that article--or any of the URL's posted, and let
us know.

You may have a different problem--I'm not familiar with that error message,
but resetting the winsock LSP stack won't damage things, and it may well fix
them.
