Firewall turning itself on.. not my imagination

This is NOT my imagination. I have a 7 computer network here in my
office. Suddenly I am finding compuers cannot connect to each other.
When I look for the problem, I find the firewall turned on.

I turn off the firewall, and it happens again. I find the firewall
turned on again.

I know it is happening everytime a machine boots up, but I think it is
also happening while they're running. I haven't nailed that down yet.

Can someone help with this?

Look in Services for a firewall service that may still be running even
though you think you have the firewall turned off.

I want to make sure that I have made it clear that it is more than one
computer that is doing this. At least 3 are doing this!

Good, just make certain that if you don't want these firewalls to be active
that you set the service Startup Type to: 'Disabled'.
