Firewall question

I have 3 PCs on a home network. There are a few things that are blocked by
the firewall that I can't seem to allow such as a simple status query from
my UPS software. Is there some way to set the firewall to allow anything to
go from/to any of the 3 computers on the home network. I can't see where I
can allow by IP or Sub address. Thanks for your help.

You will need to let us know:-

Computer Operating System - Windows? XP? Vista?

Name of firewall program and version number
or are you using Windows firewall?
 
no answer can be given with the little info you have stated, please state
what software your using for firewall.
 
Sorry about the lack of information. I have both XP and Vista and I'm
talking about the Windows' firewall. Thanks again.
