What are the required firewall ports for Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger?
Is it possible to use firewall to block the usage of MSN Messenger, but keep Windows Messenger working?

If you prevent the usage of Messanger, why would you want to keep it
"working"?

Greetings Po-Shan,

Depends what features -- but *both* clients will need either port 1863 or 80 and port 443
(all TCP) outgoing available.

You can't block one but not the other using a firewall -- they both use the same servers and
ports.
