I used ZoneAlarm for years but I'm now using Comodo which seems to do
the job. Comodo also has a nifty secure browser, "Comodo Dragon" ^_^

But that's *exactly* what he was asking about. The Windows Firewall in
XP SP3..

"If I am to use the firewall (which I would love to do...) I need an
"exception" to be set to allow IP protocol number 41 thru
(tunneling). This is IP /protocol/ 41, not TCP /port 41/."

Uhhh... again... read his post. He was pretty clear.

really? Because I posted pretty explicit instructions on how to
accomplish that in later versions of the firewall.

You can open ports, but he specifically said TCP protocol 41 "NOT TCP
port 41" - the firewall he was asking about is not that granular.

He wasn't asking about routers. You didn't comprehend what he was
asking, you made an assumption, and now you look like an idiot. Par for
the course with you I've noticed...

You probably don't remember those commercials that proclaimed "Reading

I have to go back today and move one of the new Cisco high security
access points at a drug store because the corp is changing out all
their old AP's due to evil hackers breaking into systems from across
the street or parking lots and stealing CC information and
customer info on drugs, etc. I have to use my 24' extension ladder
which I smashed my hand on yesterday. The drug store chain is converting
around 8,000 stores but me and JH can only do a few in our area. I have
to install 5 AP's in one store next week. Every joint in my body hurts.
Darn hackers, I'm in pain because of them, keep it up, I make money off
it. ^_^
