Hi

I have a numbers of XP clients, I would like to turn on their firewall using Group Policy. Any ideal how to go about it

Thank

Austin

If these are on a LAN, don't use the XP firewall - it's intended only for
internet-facing connections. What's your setup?

Am I right by thinking that if the ICS host is firewalled then all the
clients are firewalled?

I believe so, but I detest ICS and never use it. :-)

ia a way yes but it is far safer to have all pc's with another brand of firewall as ICF doesn't do the job properly
XP firewall is not the best at the moment but with XPSP2 is far more configureable I am testing it at the moment and found it to be rather good both on a LAN and on the internet
