Firewall Help Needed

Norton Firewall 2003 wont automatically alert me when programs try to gain
access to the net.Even though auto detect is on.Ive tried everything at
present im adding each program manuelly.However it used to auto detect
programs if/when they try to gain access.Any help on this please

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall Norton 2003.

Pop along to www.sygate.com or www.zonelabs.com and download/install
Sygate Personal Firewall or Zonalarm free edition.

Both are free and both are better than Norton.

Open NIS.

Select Personal Firewall > Configure > Program Control

Delete (remove) all the listed programs

set check in auto box

select program scan / or not dosn't matter.

Should be OK

Otherwise either re-install it or put something else in as suggested
before.
