Try reinstalling the firewall. This same happened with Kerio v4 which
was not compatible (did not talk to) with the security center, and a
resinstall took care of the autostart. Updating the firewall took care
of the security center.

Norton PFW doesn't talk to Security Center either, and SC generates a
false "PC may be at risk" message. In SC click on the section under AV and
select [more info] button. In the resulting window click on the line that
says: 'I have an third-party firewall solution that i will monitor and
update my self'. Then apply & ok to close window. If the window doesn't
show from SC, then go to the Internet Connections & Properties Center and
Select "windows firewall" and turn it off, selecting the third - party
solution line there.
Check in Control Panel - Admin tools - Services, and make sure the
Firewall service is starting. Double click it and make sure Startup
Type is on Automatic
