At the moment I have NIS 2005, but when my years subscription runs out I
might be thinking of changing to something new and I wondered if anyone
could recommend a product that combines a firewall and anti virus.

I am not looking for a free product.

Any info would be great.

I personally use PcCillin from Trend. Have used it for several years
and found it to be the least intrusive and best running AV of all.

I had a look at zonelabs and I must say the two year licence looks very good
value

Get System Suite 5. It uses Sygate for a firewall and TrendMicro for the AV.
http://www.v-com.com It also has a very good clean up, among other features.

I have been using ZoneAlarm Security Suite for a month now and am very happy
with it. I get at least one update a day - sometimes 3 or more.

To date the the Definition of "The Best Firewall and Antivirus Software"
depends on the needs.

Since Spyware and Ad-ware programs of late have become an Increasingly
dangerous threat Symantec and Network Associates have been scrambling to come
up with Internet Security Packages that defend you and your computer. I
personally have used these programs and have found them to lack luster.

The Best System I have found is Panda Platinum Internet Security and Its
successor. Both are very easy to use and provide the highest level of
security currently available in a retail product. Obviously the computer is
only secure as its user, but the panda software makes it very easy.

Thanks all for the info

I wondered if there is a site that does comparisons on different programs.
