Firewall 1068 Error

I just today noticed that my firewall is off. When I tried to
re-install it came up with this: "Error 1068. The dependency group or
service failed to start." Then I tried turning off Norton, still no go.
Damn Service Packs also reinstalled IM, so I turned that off. Any
further help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Check in Services to see if the ICF service is running. Start> Run>
services.msc will bring up the window listing all installed Services. Right
click and select Properties to change the "startup type." Also check the
Dependencies page. The top portion of this page lists the other services
that must be available for ICF to work properly.

Guess that's what I get for having a Gateway dependency.
