Of course, there's some difference in f'cionality of the two.

I think if someone goes over there with a highhanded attitude like
Mike came in here with, they'll get short shrift,
With the Avant shell and thirdparty protection, fine.
But like I said it's only a browser, after finding no answers I ditched
it and forgot it.
Thunderbird thoroughly b**** up and lost a load of emails - just like
Outlook Express did before it
Yup, 512, all good.Have you ever tested your ram?
OE5 was because I compacted my datab...DON'T DO THAT!!..ases.
They said that they'd fixed that bug in OE6.
Har, har
Have you already tried uninstalling/disabling extensions selectively
to see if there's one actually causing the problem?
How much RAM do you have?
No, it crashes and burns, just like the earlier version. I've never usedThe problem usually reported with old OEs was that when "compact in
background" was turned on, it would compact the store even if the
mailbox was currently in use. Is that what happened to you?
AFAIK, OE6 doesn't compact if the mailbox is in use.
The same for me.Has anybody had the problem of Firefox 1.0.1 crashing? If I open more than a couple of tabs, it crashes.
And I use a *lot* of tabs. At present, the Mozilla Quality Feedback Agent shows 3 items sent, and 4 more
in queue, all from the last 12 hours.

The same for me.
I ride now with 1.0.
What's the best way of going back without losing all my
data? I was using 0.8 but had to wipe my hard drive, so
where do I get an old version of Firefox?
I'm sorry if this question has been asked and answered
before, but with Firefox crashing all the time, it's hard
to navigate around the mozilla.org website.
