First I like to ask is why wont IE's popup blocker turn off.

And my main question is, why is FireFox taking up 80MB of my system memory
and IE taking up around 40MB of my system memory, this is not normal, is
there any way of fixing this problem with the two browsers? It gets annoying
easily.

if it helps you out for me to tell you how much RAM I have then I have 512MB
of RAM. and 4GB of virtule memory set..

It will.

That's not a lot of memory. You don't say which version of FF you're using,
there is a feature of FF that makes it use memory to cache pages. You also
don't mention how many pages and/or tabs are open.

You don't need that much set for a swap file, it should only need to be set
at 768Mb or 1Gb if you feel the need.

The questions you've asked can be fixed with a quick google search.

Uh, IE & FF are only using 120MB of the 4GB VM; pretty small. Don't
sweat it.
