Fire Wire Card for Windows XP

Help!!!!

I have installed a Fire Wire card - I can't see it in my
Device Manager and when I plug in my camcorder the PC
does not locat it.
 
It may sound basic but try another PCI slot.... when i
installed my firewire card xp did absolutly all the work
for me..
