fingerprint softwar efor vista

hey,

im trying to get my laptop's integrated fingerprint sensor to work with
windows vista build 5472. it is a UPEK touchStrip sensor on a toshiba
satellite laptop. the drivers for this sensor are available on windows
update. however, there is not software that i know of that can use it.

does anyone know ofd any software that is vista compatible and recognizes
this sensor.

i tried the protector suite ql on UPEK's website, it didn't work. i tried
ibm's thinkvantage software (because ibm also uses this sensor), and that
didnt work either. A BIGGER PROBLEM: Now I cant get these to programs to
un-install - every time I try i get an error message saying: This program
requires IE 5.0 or higher. Can someone please help?

You will need a Vista driver from the manufacturer. If none is available
then it will not work under Vista.

To uninstall the drivers you can't get rid of, use System Restore and
restore to a point before the installation.
