Has anyone had any exposure to a fingerprint SDK ?

If so what did you use and how and how did you find it ?

All I can say is that there is no SDK for Microsoft's fingerprint readers
available.

But they are not free.
anyhow, the microsoft fingerprint reader seems to use the technologies from
digitalpersona.
APC also use their technologies.

Yes, this SDK is very expensive. But the guys at www.griaule.com has a FREE
SDK that supports the MS Fingerprint Reader, just download it!
BTW, DP SDK doesn't work with MS FP Reader.

Dear John,

My developing environment is running under Windows 2000 Advanced Server, so
I'm having problems to initialize MS FP Reader.

I've downloaded GRFinger Desktop Login, GRFinger 4.1 FREE and SDK fron
Griaule but all I got was a message that says "Initializing Reader"
"Inicializando o Leitor de Impressão Digital" but not occurs after that and
MS FP Reader remains with all lights off.

Can you help me?

Microsoft fingerprint reader works only in windows xp as documentation
of Microsoft and grfinger.
