Fingerprint icon pops up the the upper LH corner, Office Applicati

Whether on not I sign on using the fingerprint reader, the
fingerprint-request icon keeps popping up in the upper LH corner of my screen
when I'm using Word or other Offcie applications. It covers the FILE and NEW
BLANK DOCUMENT commands for a couple of seconds and interferes with the use
of the application. How do I stop it?

Since the fingerprint reader isn't a native part of Word or Office, I'd
recommend asking the vendor of the fingerprint reader software.
